If you thought it was difficult rounding up helpers when it came time to move your household stuff try finding your friends when you're ready to move 5,000+ lbs. of antique presses and equipment. Not even the offer of free pizza and beer will bring them out and I'm a beer snob, I'll only buy the good stuff.

Legion Bamboo is made from 90% bamboo and 10% cotton. Parent sheets and a good selection of matching envelopes are available.

Revere is a mouldmade 100% cotton paper made in Italy. It's available in several finishes: Felt, Suede, and Silk.

My friend and talented calligrapher/illustrator, eDanae Calligraphy, will have some of her wonderful hand-drawn maps in that issue; maps that I letterpress printed for her clients. Yep, I'm pretty excited!

I'd like to thank Portland art director and web designer Deb Pang Davis and Bend, Oregon web developer John Knotts for their web design and web development services. They have both been instrumental in helping me pave the path that will take Jazyrain toward greater success and joy. Thank you!!

In case you didn't know already, I'm Kevin Cox, owner and pressman of Jazyrain Letterpress. I have recently transitioned my business away from offering design and letterpress printing services to just printing services so I can focus on my passion for letterpress. This allows me to operate more focused and efficiently, giving graphic designers a high quality job at a good value.

I'll be using this blog as a space to post recent printing work, paper/envelope reviews and opinions, printing challenges, and maybe even some interviews with graphic designers.
