Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question? Not sure where to start? Here are some answers to some questions common to many designers. Contact me if you still have questions. I’m glad to help!

How quickly are you able to turnaround my job?

My standard turn around is to have your project ready to ship 10-15 business days after receiving your press-ready art. Delays could present themselves if a paper stock other than my house stock is specified.

Can you rush an order?

Yes, rushing an order is an option that comes at a 50% premium. A rushed job, in most cases, can be ready to ship within 5 business days of receiving your press-ready art. Press-ready art must be received by 9am PST on the day the rush job is ordered.

Do you work with clients outside the United States?

Yes! I've had the pleasure of designing and letterpress printing for clients in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

How do I get a quote for my project?

Please use this form and provide as much detail as possible about your project to receive a quote.

What kinds of paper do you have in stock?

I stock Crane's Lettra, 100% cotton, 110# cover stock as well as Crane's Lettra, 100% cotton, 32# envelopes in US standard sizes. Lettra is available in three shades of white: Fluorescent, Pearl, and Ecru. This paper was designed specifically for modern letterpress printing and is an excellent choice for wedding invitations as well as business and personal stationery. Please refer to the Jazyrain House Papers section of this website.

Are there any limitations for letterpress printing?

Letterpress is a specialty printing process that is best suited to high-end wedding invitations, business and personal stationery, and projects that benefit from printing on a variety of papers that would choke a modern press. Letterpress may not be the best option for every project. I'd be happy to discuss the details of your project if you're uncertain about letterpress being the right option.

Do you partner with designers?

I have a handful of designers with whom I collaborate and carefully select who I work with for a long term relationship. If you are interested in speaking with me, please email me.

I'd like to learn letterpress printing. Do you teach?

Sorry, not at this time.

I'd like to do my internship with your studio. Do you offer internships?

Not at this time and please subscribe to my blog to stay up-to-date on the latest news.

Can you print addresses on my envelopes?

The only addresses I letterpress print are: invitation return addresses (usually on the flap), response card mailing addresses, and the return addresses for save the date, thank you, and other miscellaneous envelopes.

Do you offer any other printing services besides letterpress?

Letterpress printing is my specialty, I do not offer any other type of printing services.
